Job Summary 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Officer to join our HR team at Florette in Lichfield. You'll be responsible for the end to end recruitment process at our nominated sites, working with the aim of attracting and recruiting the best employees to support our sites in achieving their goals and targets. You'll bring creativity, energy and drive to deliver innovative ideas and solutions to meet our recruitment challenges. You'll also be organised and efficient, able to work at pace and able to balance a busy workload with changing priorities. 

Working hours:  Full Time, M-F

About Us 

Florette is one of three UK food manufacturing factories owned by the French co-operative group, Agrial. Agrial has operations across 18 regions, with 280 farming outlets and 5 different divisions, which comprise Beverage, Dairy, Meat, Fresh Produce & Agricultural operations; it’s not just about lettuce! As well as the 3 factories we also have a farming operation – Agrial Fresh Farms. All UK sites operate under the name of Agrial Fresh Produce Limited and fall under Agrial's vegetable division. 

The business is more recognisable in the UK by its Florette salad brand and we are now one of the UK’s leading producers in the industry. Under the Florette brand, our site processes and distributes pre-packed, ready to eat fresh salad bags to well-known retailers in the UK. Main Responsibilities 

  • Carrying out recruitment campaigns, for all levels and disciplines including volume recruitment for operative level 
  • Conduct screening interviews, utilising selection testing where necessary
  • Managing recruitment advertising 
  • Management and ongoing development of inhouse ATS system
  • To quality control the recruitment process, ensuring we are in line with Company and legal requirements
  • To analyse and report on recruitment trends, nationally and locally 
  • To develop the Employer Brand and manage related social media campaigns 
  • To report on monthly recruitment KPI’s
  • To ensure all visa requirements are met ensuring that all potential employees have the right to work in the UK
  • To continue to build upon business relationships with local agencies, job centres, colleges etc
  • To train hiring managers in interviewing skills
  • To coordinate work experience programmes and be a STEM ambassador for the company at recruitment events  

Skills and Experience Required 

  • Proven recruitment track record in fast paced, high volume environment - ideally FMCG
  • Knowledge of UK recruitment legislation to include GDPR, Modern Slavery, ETI and DE&I 
  • The ability to work in a fast paced organisation under pressure
  • Creativity and ability to think outside of the norm to address challenges
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise with strong organisational skills
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems
